I think I've mentioned my cat Simba before, but I don't really remember. He's been at the vet since Monday evening, and even the vet told us he didn't know what was wrong with him. This morning he came in and found out that Simba had died some time last night

For things that don't even speak English or don't pay bills, it's strange how much they really end up meaning to us in the end. Ok, they don't need to pay bills to have my love, but it is interesting how we become so attached to such simple creatures. I'm really going to miss my fat cat

My Cooking Wars entry is nearly finished, and thanks to =MyNameIsMad, it's now due next Wednesday on the 25th *praises god* Although I'll probably be working a lot this weekend (DAMN YOU TWILIGHT ), I'm going to try and get the pages done and turned in, and then it's onto my Architecture portfolio =___=''

Lastly, I'm REALLY wanting to work on Dante's Disco Inferno (I HAVE IDEAS, DAMMIT!!) But it's mostly because of Virgil; I swear to God, Ryu is my favorite fictional character ever, but Virgil is SERIOUSLY a close second, NO JOKE. I love him I do want to do a couple drawings, and hell, I want to get a web site started for it too. Maybe I'll work on that this evening...

-I don't know why, but this one just really caught my eye in her gallery. I love the design and the colors, but the posture itself gives SUCH an awesome quality to the drawing overall. Aside from her drawing of my OC Gizen Kalium (hyukhyuk), this is definitely my favorite of hers and I'm glad I double checked her gallery to find it 8D My particularly favorite detail: the posture/stance

-Okay, I LOVE this one TTWTT The coloring...SPOT ON. Seriously, the expression and movement...not only do I want to fave it AGAIN, I want to beat the skills it took to draw this out of my friend here *runs after SV with Carmine* I'm normally not for shoujo, but this girl's style sells it to me. My particularly favorite detail: the lineart all around (GORGEOUS)

-Not only a great friend and fellow Ryu lover, but also a great artist! This particular piece I enjoy because of the smooth texture of the colors and the details and lines that give it a REALLY realistic touch. I also love the "connection" between these two characters, and the outfits for both of them add to that effect as well. My particularly favorite detail: all of Hao's details

-Hano wanted me to feature a more recent work, so I did just that! (it's barely an hour and a half old ''xD) Of course I love Ishiki, but this piece is AWESOME-TASTIC! I love how he's postinioned like he's falling back so that he's not static at all in this pic, and that his expression is not only lively but almost freakily excited! Hano also succeeded epically to draw Ishiki's body in good proportion, and the hand upclose with the light and other stuff around it...x3 Just amazing! My particularly favorite detail: the light effects and Ishiki overall

-I don't like Shaman King fan art JUST because it's...well, Shaman King fan art, but also because of how well artists can draw the characters and the details that made me love it in the first place. I feel like SDG really managed to capture the essence of what Takei's original style truly is; all of the lines, details and shading are just beautiful, and I'm seriously envious of how well it came out! DRAW MORE!! My particularly favorite detail: the lineart

-AHHHHHHHHH...That is the sound of angels singing when they see this...which is kind of ironic, but what the...Hell? (HURDYDURP) Seriously, I love the DETAIL!!!! Honestly, all of NML's lines are awesome in her gallery, but this one just pops whenever I see it, and I think it's because of the amazing blend of black, white, blue, and red that makes it do that. Lastly, the overall feel of the drawing and the style of the figures shown (although mostly fan art, the japanese oni are the best) is just awesome at LEAST. -I've always loved this one, and it's mostly because of the lineart and the wolf. The expression it portrays is so great and really matches the demeaner of the animal! Also, all of the lines flow swimmingly, and I just love it overall! Although not necessarily about this piece in particular, BG39 has an INSANE and awesome ability to really take a style and create it through her own hands, and that has to be one of the most envious things about her! My particularly favorite detail: Bigby (wolf) in general

-I'm really loving Yoh's expression, and the added design I like how the hair covers one side of the face, and how the uniform is uneven gives it such a natural look not just to make the picture interesting but to also add to YA504's style itself. After reading his fan fic, I'm definitely more curious to see how the rest of the Yoh's outfit and appearance will turn out, and maybe even those of the other characters! -Amid all of the good work that AK16 has in her gallery (and her pic of me and Amy x3), I really liked this the best! All of the characters are drawn really well together as a group, and I especially love that they are all unique and have different designs. The coloring is also really good because none of the colors clash or are distracting, and everyone of their expressions is just ADORABLE!! My particlarly favorite detail: the designs of all of the characters

-There are seriously only GOOD things to say about this pic. I love stipple art, and this piece by MM is just AWESOME!! I love how the crane isn't stretched out and awkward looking, but rather relaxed and natural, which along with MM's details makes it much more realistic to me. I absolutely adore how she used the pen to shading in the dark spots and also highlight the feathers that are white by using the paper. BRILLIANT OVERALL! My particlarly favorite detail: EVERYTHING

-It's a mecha, WHAT MORE CAN I SAY?! Well, I can add in that I love the design mostly because I like how it has both mechanical-looking and organic components, making it look more than just a giant robot. How it's drawn is also really neat, with the placement of its legs and the overall, battle-ready stance it has >:3 I could definitely see myself driving one of these bad boys xD My particlarly favorite detail: the mecha's stance

-God, I had SUCH a hard time trying to figure out which piece to feature (she has so many good works, fan art and original), but I narrowed it down to this one! Out of all of the ones that I took off to the side and considered, this one really impresses me the most because of the background details and the effects that she used to create a glow all over the image. I love the use of the bamboo brushes, and all of the shading is to die for! Together with her choice of color and emotion, this pic is both soothing and profound, and I WANT IT IN MY BEDROOM ROOM AS A WALLPAPER D:<'' (put it on sale, BITCH!) My particlarly favorite detail: IT GLOWS LIKE A FLOCK OF ANGELS

-I love how Mr.M drew this pic with such vitality! There's really nothing static about the character, and there's just a lot of good fluid motion with his hair and the way he's standing (which I think is an awesome pose!) She's also demonstrated a skillful use of perspective and detail, giving this character such great depth. Lastly, the expression is just KILLER: it's absolutely perfect for this picture! -If you guys haven't read the Mannequin Comic that HK has written, you need to! Before I even read them, I saw this immediately and loved it! Because of the artistic doll's posture, you really feel as though the object is a living thing, and reacting to the sun's light. The placement of the doll in the picture with thesun above and a view of the clouds also gives it more of a realistic feel from the "worm's eye" perpective. Overall, the picture is also very crisp, and shows a great balance of subject matter :3 My particlarly favorite detail: the perspective from the ground up

-Initially, the color tempted me to check this piece out, and did it impress me I love the way it's shaded, and of course the context of the picture itself (ballet is so mysterious, and I love marionettes, haha). Not only does the taller figure look so majestic with his pose, but the ballet positions are just adorable and very well "executed" (bravo, ZZ and you little marionettes! Bravo!) Totally amazed by the overall composition and coloring of this picture! My particlarly favorite detail: The subject matter

-I LOVE the colors! How the reds and yellows are put together and of course the mix of blues and greens...talk about my favorite color combinations! The girl in the foreground is also really well drawn; I especially love her hair, and the pink is a great color that contrasts well with the background! -This guy's got a lot of really great work, colored works and linart alike, but I just really liked this one above the rest for some reason. What really impresses me is the lineart and the black and white composition (I'm a fan for these kind of drawings =U= haha) The posture and stances of these two girls are really unique and interesting, too, and the one thing that LR does that never disappoints is his style of characters and their anatomy, which is never that stick-thin and has a ton of substance and flare to it I wish I had characters with such awesome legs like those...hahaha My particlarly favorite detail: the anatomy and style overall
